This Privacy Notice describes how Diledge ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you visit our website or engage with our services. Please read this notice carefully.

1. What information do we collect?

We collect information you provide directly, information collected automatically when you use our site, and limited information provided by third parties.

Information you provide: When you fill out a contact form, book a call, or communicate with us by email, we may collect your name, email address, company name, and any other information you choose to share.

Automatically collected information: When you visit our website, we automatically collect certain information, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, and pages visited. This is standard web server log data.

Client engagement data: In the context of a diligence engagement, we may receive and process financial documents and data files provided by you or on your behalf. This data is handled under the terms of our engagement agreement and is not subject to this general privacy notice.

2. How do we process your information?

We use your information to respond to inquiries, deliver services, and improve the website — not for advertising.

We process information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To respond to your inquiries and schedule discovery calls
  • To deliver financial diligence services you have engaged us for
  • To improve and maintain our website
  • To comply with legal obligations
  • To protect our rights and the rights of our users

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for targeted advertising.

3. Legal bases for processing

We process your information when we have a legitimate reason to do so — typically to perform a contract, comply with law, or pursue our legitimate business interests.

Depending on the applicable law, we may rely on the following legal bases to process your personal information:

  • Contract performance: When processing is necessary to fulfill an engagement agreement with you.
  • Legitimate interests: When processing is necessary for our legitimate business interests, such as responding to inquiries or improving our site, and those interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Legal obligation: When we are required to process information to comply with applicable law.
  • Consent: Where required, and where you have provided consent.

4. When do we share information?

We share information only as needed to deliver services, and never sell it.

We may share information with:

  • Service providers: Trusted third-party vendors who assist us in operating our website and delivering services (e.g., hosting, scheduling tools, email). These parties are contractually obligated to protect your information.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government authority, or to protect the rights and safety of us, our clients, or others.
  • Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

5. Cookies and tracking technologies

Our website may use minimal analytics. We do not use advertising cookies.

We may use basic cookies or analytics tools to understand how visitors use our website. These are used solely for improving the user experience and site performance — not for advertising or tracking across third-party sites.

You can configure your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent. Some features of the website may not function properly if cookies are disabled.

6. How long do we keep your information?

We retain information only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law.

Contact and inquiry information is retained for as long as needed to respond to your request and maintain a business relationship. Engagement-related data is retained in accordance with our client agreement terms and applicable legal requirements. We periodically review and delete information that is no longer needed.

7. How do we keep your information safe?

We use industry-standard security measures appropriate for the nature of the data we process.

We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Our infrastructure is hosted on AWS, with encryption in transit and at rest.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Do we collect information from minors?

No. Our services are intended for business professionals only.

We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under the age of 18. Our website and services are directed to business professionals. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

9. What are your privacy rights?

Depending on where you are located, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information.

Depending on applicable law (including GDPR or applicable US state laws), you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your personal information
  • Object to or restrict our processing of your information
  • Request portability of your information
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

To exercise these rights, please contact us by email at contact@diledge.ai. We will respond to your request in accordance with applicable law.

10. Controls for Do-Not-Track features

We do not currently respond to Do-Not-Track browser signals.

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature that you can activate to signal your preference not to have data about your browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals.
